BULK ORDERS 2008  PRICING
Advance  Bulk Purchase Pricing
Below is the price list for items advanced purchased for winter storage.  The deadline for advance purchases is March 31 2008

In-season Bulk Purchase Pricing
In-season bulk purchase pricing is variable and is determined by market prices.  We price our produce for our members at or below local prevailing prices.  In-season bulk pricing will be posted, TBD.
Advance bulk purchases have priority when supplies are low, limiting availability, so Order in advance.

Advance Bulk Purchases
For CSA share members. You must be a shareholder to order advance bulk produce.

Ideally, fresh from the farm eaten the day it is picked is the best way to enjoy Natures’ Way Farm produce, there are certain times of the year this is not possible – in particular winter.  So we have to settle for next best: winter stored NWF produce!  Depending on the item, by either preserving – through freezing, canning, pickling or dehydrating – or through storing at the correct temperatures and humidity, you can continue to enjoy locally grown, chemical-free produce well into the winter months.  Granted, nutritional value diminishes slightly when your FRESH NWF food is frozen, canned etc. at it peak.  The nutritional value of old food is also diminished when not harvested at peek ripeness and may be days or weeks old, it has lost a lot of what it had.  However a larger factor to consider is all the costs, ...for labor, transportation, etc. all of your money stays in the local economy and supports local jobs, summer youth employment (environmental educational valued work), community programs and events.

Though we strive to fulfill all orders we don’t control the weather and at times can run short.  By ordering in advance, you receive priority over in-season bulk purchases for the items you order.  To provide the best and fairest service to customers we now require 50% of the order down with advance bulk orders; the balance of the order payment is due when you receive your produce.  If you do not pick up your bulk orders as scheduled, we will attempt to contact you.  The produce will be set out for sale if not picked up as scheduled.  If crops are available you may be able to reschedule, subject to availability of crops.
